Apart from February, Conduit loans dominated all other classes in loan filings \u2013consistent with the proportional size of the conduit universe.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In August of 2023, the highest number of loans transferred to the special servicer.&nbsp; August marked the beginning of a trend of substantial distress in the CRE CLO arena.&nbsp;&nbsp; Following months of 1 or two loan transfers, August saw 31 CRE CLO loans sent to special service.&nbsp; 41 more CRE CLO loans would transfer for the balance of 2023 and that trend continues to be a major focus in 2024.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cred-iq.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CRED-iQ-CMBS-Special-Servicer-Loan-Transfer-Counts-by-Deal-Type.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3615\" width=\"760\" height=\"524\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cred-iq.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CRED-iQ-CMBS-Special-Servicer-Loan-Transfer-Counts-by-Deal-Type.png 760w, https:\/\/cred-iq.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CRED-iQ-CMBS-Special-Servicer-Loan-Transfer-Counts-by-Deal-Type-300x207.png 300w, https:\/\/cred-iq.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CRED-iQ-CMBS-Special-Servicer-Loan-Transfer-Counts-by-Deal-Type-696x480.png 696w, https:\/\/cred-iq.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CRED-iQ-CMBS-Special-Servicer-Loan-Transfer-Counts-by-Deal-Type-150x103.png 150w, https:\/\/cred-iq.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CRED-iQ-CMBS-Special-Servicer-Loan-Transfer-Counts-by-Deal-Type-218x150.png 218w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Over this past 12-month period, Imminent Monetary Default was the leading transfer reason.
